Besides the default affiliate link that our system generates when an affiliate account first gets activated, you can create a custom link for the affiliates. It is a great way to create a clean-looking URL for an affiliate that doesn't contain the sca_ref code (for example, https://yourdomain.com/Alex)

How to set up custom link?
There are 2 ways to create custom links for affiliates, which are Manual and Auto-create Custom link.
Auto-create custom link
Using the Auto-create custom link functionality, you can effortlessly produce unique, personalized affiliate links tailored to your affiliates. Say goodbye to manual adjustments and tedious copy-pasting; this tool automates the procedure, granting you the capability of optimization and customization right at your disposal.

Manual custom link
To create a custom link, go to Management > Affiliates > click on the affiliate's name > Profile tab > Promotion method > Set custom affiliate link:
You can change the affiliate link to your preference and our system will automatically generate a redirection to your store.
Please note that the Custom URL shouldn't be an existing link of your store (i.e. https://garment-industry.myshopify.com/collections/all) because it will not credit the affiliates.
The affiliate can see their customized link in their account's Dashboard:
One affiliate can only have 1 custom link.
The custom link might not be able to be created if that custom path exists in your Shopify Navigation > View URL redirects.
